What are Super Sports Night Run 2021 all about?
The exciting event is a part of the Super Sports Night Run Series which includes four races that will be held on various dates.
The first race to kick start the series will be held on 26th January 2021 followed by other races on 20th April, 18th May & 15th June 2021.
The first race will be held at the beautiful Track Gold Clubhouse Meydan, Dubai, UAE.
Who is hosting the Super Sports Events?
The main event organizer is Super Sports UAE. The Event Co-Sponsors include the prestigious Dubai Sports Council, The Track Meydan Golf & Vit Hit.
Race Categories for Super Sports Night Run Race 1
All the Sports Night races are individual events that are categorized according to distance & age limits. The Sports Night Run Race 1 is scheduled for January 26, 2021.
The main categories of the Sports Night Run Races are:
1. 5K Juniors – Males & Females in the age group of 0-18 years can participate in this event.
2. 5K Adults – This event includes 4 age groups & both males and females can participate in them. The age groups are:
i. 19-29 years
ii. 30-39 years
iii. 40-49 years
iv. 50-99 years
3. 10K Juniors – It is the same as 5K juniors. Distance is the only criteria that have been increased.
4. 10 Adults – The age groups are similar to 5K adults race & only the distance has been increased to 10K.
Registration Fees for the Super Sports Night Run Race 1
The entry fee for 5K Juniors race is 125 AED. The entry fees for the rest of the races are 175 AED.
Registrations will close by 24th January or sooner depending on the number of entries received.
Attractions of the Super Sports Night Run 2021
You get to enjoy major attractions such as the Meydan Royal Bridge, Sheikh Zayed Road Skyline, Business Bay& the iconic Burj Khalifa while participating in the race.
Apart from that, you get an official race t-shirt, finishers medal, complimentary snacks & beverage & a downloadable certificate. The track difficulty is pretty easy & includes 3 water stations & refreshments for people who are participating in the race.
Emergency medical services are will be on standby & you can park your vehicles at G12.
When Should I Reach the Venue?
The race check-in will begin at around 7 PM. It is advised that you check-in at least 20 mins before the start of the race.
The 10K race will start around 8 PM whereas the 5K race will start around 8.05 PM.
